Minhaj-ul-Quran Dallas, Texas USA congratulates its beloved Quaid, the beloved of Rasool Allah, the Ambassador of peace, the revivalist of this century, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, on the auspicious occasion of his 68th birthday anniversary. Through the blessings of Huzoor Sayyidi Shaykh-ul-Islam, Jame' Hasan al-Basri and Minhaj-ul-Quran Community Center continued to progress in its journey of success and sublimity in the year of 2018. In addition to offering daily Naazra Quran classes, weekly Sunday Islamic school, weekly Halaqa Durood and Dhikr programs, weekly Tafseer al-Quran, monthly Dars al-Quran for sisters, and monthly Youth League programs for sisters and brothers, the Minhaj-ul-Quran center also offered exclusive programs on Lailat al-Me'raj, Lailat al-Bara'at, Lailat al-Qadr, Muharram, Youm-al-Ali, and 12 days of Mawlid al-Nabi programs in the year 2018. These distinct programs were also telecasted live on the Minhaj-ul-Quran Dallas Facebook page (www.facebook.com/minhajdallas). This social media Facebook page has also been liked by over 9,400 people since 2014.
Furthermore, Minhaj-ul-Quran Dallas also feels honored in continuing to serve the community members during the whole month of Ramadan in 2018. Minhaj-ul-Quran Dallas has also helped the deserving members of the community, including non-Muslims, through its resources throughout the year. Additionally, a special program on Muslim Christian Dialogue Forum (MCDF) of Minhaj-ul-Quran was also arranged at Iftar and dinner on May 26, 2018, to promote interfaith harmony. A delegation from Grace Presbyterian Church was invited to attend Iftar and dinner. The most successful endeavors of Minhaj-ul-Quran Dallas Women League is the achievement and honor in supporting Sister Summar Shoaib, a Community member of Dallas Fort-worth, for the completion of her doctorate degree. Dr. Summar Shoaib is the first woman in the USA and in the world who recently completed her Ph.D. degree on October 29, 2018 from Emory University, Georgia, with the dissertation titled as: "Fulfilling the Mission: Minhaj-ul-Quran, Women's Authority and re-instilling Love for the Prophet Muhammad". Dr. Summar moved to Dallas from Georgia state in 2016 to reside close to Minhaj-ul-Quran Center in Dallas to observe the activities of the center, in particular the role of women spreading the mission of Minhaj-ul-Quran in the USA. Minhaj-ul-Quran Dallas' Woman League President, Sister Riffat Qazi, presented the recognition shield to Dr. Summar Shoaib on the blessed occasion of the Grand Mawlid al-Nabi program on Saturday, November 17, 2018. Certainly, we are fortunate to be a part of this noble mission working under the esteemed patronage of His Eminence, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir -ul-Qadri.
